What is Boys & Girls Clubs of South Cicero?

The Boys Club of Cicero, founded in 1950, embarked on a transformative journey marked by several key events. The club achieved a significant milestone as it opened its doors to the young boys of Cicero, Illinois, providing them with a much-needed sanctuary and opportunities for personal growth.

From its humble beginnings in 1950 to the present day, the Boys' & (now Girls') Clubs of Cicero have undergone significant transformations, with key events such as its opening in 1950. Through the dedicated efforts of leaders and the unwavering support of the community, the club remains a beacon of hope and opportunity for youth in Cicero and beyond.

Our Clubs strive to reach our three key priority outcomes:

Academic Success
Our programs help our members make academic strides and graduate from high school with a plan for the future.

Good Character and Citizenship
Club members are taught to be engaged citizens involved in the community and to model strong character.

Healthy Lifestyles
From building self-esteem and confidence to providing healthy meals and activities, our Clubs help kids develop healthy habits that last a lifetime.
