He is an experienced professional who enjoys patient care and complex problem solving - drawing on education and experience since 2000. Assimilating work experience as an athletic trainer, physician assistant and servant leader with a strong interest in technology, data analytics, team building and the patient experience allows for a diverse perspective and skill set utilized within a practice.

Katie Rowe is the Director of Operations at Orthopedic Associates, LLC in St. Louis, Missouri – a private practice with 11 physicians, 4 APP’s. She is experienced in everything operational and revenue cycle management. She is responsible for planning, directing and evaluating all activities within the practice. Her passion is diving into the day-to-day operations with her team to help create an exceptional patient experience. Katie has worked within the Orthopedic specialty since 1994. Starting as a receptionist and learning her way into management. She also has experience with practice mergers and hospital acquisitions.

Biography
Karrie Barbour, FACMPE has been in leadership roles in the medical fields for over 35 years. She obtained her Fellowship from the American College of Medical Practice Executives in 2015. She has had the unique opportunity to manage more than 20 different sub-specialties, during her career, but Orthopaedics and Operations are her passions. Karrie is a mother to three and grandmother to 4. She is also training a puppy to be a therapy dog in the medical field. Her personal hobby obsession is quilting and crafting for which she gives back by donating quilts to various medical charities.
