Healthcare workers meet new obstacles every day and it is important that they are honest about their mental state. We will discuss how to implement a mental health initiative in your practice and share how to open the communication with your staff.

Biography
Leah Stechschulte has an Associates Degree in Medical Assisting and is a registered Orthopedic Technician. She currently works at Bluegrass Orthopaedics as the Director of Clinical Operations. She has worked in orthopedics for 12 years. Her hobbies include, travel, crafting and watch the NFL (Go Pats!). She is currently married, has a daughter and son both under the age of 3. Her superpower is surviving in management with sleep deprivation.

Biography
Shannon Young has an Associates degree in Health Information Management, she is also a Certified Professional Coder, and is currently working on her CPPM (Certified Physician Practice Manager). She is the Co-Director of Business Operations at Bluegrass Orthopaedics in Lexington, KY. She has worked in healthcare for 27 years, 16 years in orthopedics. Her hobbies include her new grandbaby and her church family. She is currently married to the love of her life she has 2 sons and a daughter, son-in-law. Her superpower is to multi-task like a mother.
